This is a great sleep cap - great quality and very well made. I have made a couple of reversible silk satin bonnets and was curious to try this style as it is way less pouffy. It does feel like my hair is a compacted in this cap but I guess that means even less friction when I move around on my (silk) pillow? My curls definitely need to be puffed up when I take the cap off. I don't like the feel of the underside of silk satin so I wear mine inside out so the smooth side is against my hair and I get the benefit. I don't mind the french seams and label being visible - only my partner and dogs see me :-)
