We love hair! Over 20 years ago our owner Jo wanted to make it possible for everyday Kiwis to look after their own hair at home. In June 1991 the Haircare Market was founded as New Zealand’s very first shampoo shop, making professional hair products and advice accessible to all New Zealanders. We continue to offer professional advice and a wide selection of competitively priced professional products.

To this day the original store remains a family owned business and we are proud to be New Zealand owned and operated.
