How do I care for my wig?
HAIRCARE MARKET – MEDICAL AND HAIR LOSS SPECIALISTS
We have been looking after clients requiring wigs either permanently or temporarily for the past 30+ years.
We have a great selection of wigs to choose from with many different lengths, styles and colours.
Our wigs are best quality synthetic or 100% human hair, from Europe.
Care of Wigs
Wigs are made of synthetic fibre, so setting is not required. Wigs only need to be washed every 2 months, or more often if you wear frequently.
To wash – be very gentle
1. Wet wig in cool water – squeeze shampoo down through the wig and then rinse with cool water.
2. Squeeze conditioner down through the wig and then rinse in cool water.
3. Roll the wig up gently in a hand towel and blot out the excess water.
4. Lie flat to dry and then shake when dry.
5. Do not put the wig on a wig block when wet. Wait until it’s completely dry and then place on the block and comb into place.
DO NOT EXPOSE THE WIG TO ANY DIRECT HEAT
Eg. ovens, open fires, heaters, blow dryers
