The Redken Extreme Play Safe is a multi-benefit treatment and leave-in conditioner that provides heat protection up to 450°F while strengthening hair and repairing it from existing damage. Infused with plant proteins and tourmaline, this treatment helps prevent split ends and reduces the appearance of split ends by 70%, Fortifies hair fibers for 28% less breakage.

How to use:
Step 1: Prep hair by washing with Redken Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner.
Step 2: Apply a dime-sized amount of product to damp hair, concentrating on fragile or damaged mid-lengths and ends. Leave in. Do not rinse.
Step 3: Heat style hair as usual. Extreme Play Safe will protect hair from heat damage up to 450 degrees Farenheit.

This is a good heat protectant but it did feel a bit heavy on my hair. I will reduce the amount I use and hopefully that will reduce this effect.
I love this product - I have very damaged heat-treated hair and this cream made me feel totally safe about using my straighteners. I also love the smell!
Even using the smallest amount it left my hair looking greasy and without and body.. Had to wash my hair before going to bed as it would have left my face oily the next morning.
